Before I share my recommendations of the perfect books set in Bolivia, may I please just rave about a bunch of fantastic people who are working so hard to improve the lives of Bolivian women? I Biked Bolivia’s Death Road and Ended Up Flying Off the Cliff
Most people want to avoid going over the cliff on Death Road. I, however, really enjoyed the experience.
Everyone wants to ride a bike down the road that earned the title “World’s Most Dangerous Road,” right? Before I signed up for this madness, I had bicycled only sporadically over the past few years. “It’s like riding a bike” must mean something and I felt sure my former biking skills would resurface.
